Saving Supplement Solutions, Issue #007 - Exercise Benefits, Nutritional Supplements

Exercise Benefits and those of Nutritional Supplements are similar...

I've been gone, or had company most of June, so I haven't gotten a lot done at Effective Health Supplements. But during my travels I've done my best to continue exercising and taking the nutritional supplements I've made a part of my life. I had dropped a lot of my exercising until I noticed my weight was slowly creeping up.

Toward the end of my travels, I started thinking about what the benefits of exercise and supplements are, and I found they are surprisingly similar... Perhaps they aren't all benefits, maybe they should just be called "characteristics", anyway, here's the list.


  • their widespread use is a modern phenomenon...no one exercised or took supplements a hundred years ago
  • many people still consider both unnecessary
  • both promote good health
  • both might enable many to regain good health if their health has been slipping
  • both are not free (supplements cost money, and exercise will cost time, if not money)
  • both require commitment to deliver value
  • both will deliver individual value that will vary from person to person
  • neither will yield benefits unless utilized consistently
  • too much of either can actually cause damage
  • both are easy to quit, even after you're sure they are helping you

    I'm sure I could think of more similarities, and probably you could too.

    As with many good things in life, it is important to actually do what we know we should in order reap benefits.

    Let me encourage you to take consistent action in both of these areas. Both exercise and supplements are worthy priorities for healthy living.

    Personal News

    I mentioned I'd been traveling. We took three of my nieces and one nephew to a family camp in Wisconsin. We've been doing this for about four or five years now, and we really enjoy it.

    Then the next week we took them home and visited with my sister and her husband for a couple of days.

    The week before camp we were also gone for a day or two getting the children, since they live between three and four hundred miles away. So in all, the month has been pretty full of travel.

    I do believe I've managed to write one or two new pages on the site, and I trust I'll be adding more this coming week, so you may want to check back within a few days to see the latest there.

    Future Plans

    I plan to spend at least another full month writing on women's health supplements, perhaps more.

    The more I consider it, the more pages I realize need to be written.

    After I get through with that topic, I plan to move on to men's health supplements.

    I'm looking forward to getting a little more time to write in the near future.
