Saving Supplement Solutions, Issue #004 - Knowing But Not Doing!
March 19, 2009
Dear ,

Knowing but not Doing Brings Sickness!

I'm sure you've fallen into the trap of "knowing but not doing" at some point in your life.

In fact there are some people who make it a way of life. They know all about what they ought, or ought not to do, but that is as far as it goes.

When it comes to make decisions and their actions, they live just as though they knew nothing.

In my case, I've been traveling for the last six weeks. When I started to get a sore throat about three weeks into the trip, I knew the best thing to do would be to start supplementing with Echinacea and Vitamin C.

Initially, I did what I knew to do,... for one day! But when the sore throat disappeared, I immediately stopped taking the supplements.

In addition, I didn't up my intake of the super food supplement concentrate that helps the body release more stem cells.

For the next three days I thought the one day of extra supplements worked. On the fourth day, I woke up with a very sore throat, and all the symptoms of a cold.

I realized that I'd been caught in the "knowing but not doing" trap. I know that to fight off a cold, one day of extra supplements isn't usually enough to do the job.

I should have continued the extra supplements for at least a week. I'm still suffering from the results of my poor decisions!

The cold progressed into a full blown case of laryngitis! I haven't been able to talk for the past two days.

Needless to say, I have been taking lots of extra vitamins and echinacea since, as well as the super food concentrate, but now I have to wait and give my body time to heal.

Why Share This Story with You?

I think the major reason is to encourage you not to make the same mistake I made. If you know that you need certain foods or supplements to be healthy, don't get lazy about taking them.

We always hate to admit that we "need" anything. We'd like to be entirely independent. But we were created to need nutrients to function. If we can't get them from foods, then we need to get them from supplements.

Don't be afraid to make nutritious supplements a part of your life when they truly help your health.

If you seek wisely, I believe you will be able to find supplements that will do that. I certainly have.

Although they are not without expense, they are much less expensive then the drugs, medical tests, and operations that mainstream medicine pushes as the only answers to health challenges.

The most valuable asset you can save with wise supplementation is your health. But if you just research supplements that should help, and never use them, you are wasting your time.

Then instead of saving supplement solutions, you'll have to deal with strength sapping sicknesses.
