Sherilyn's Saving Supplement Solutions, Issue #12 New Year Reflections
January 12, 2010
Dear ,

Happy New Year!

New Year Reflections

New year reflections are frequently crowded out in today's fast paced world, and if goals or resolutions are made, they're frequently forgotten or abandoned within the first month of the year.

In some ways we all realize that the new year is a man made event. There's really no difference between December 31st and January 1st except our decision to make it the beginning of a new time period.

Nevertheless, one of the greatest benefits of the new year is that it encourages us to evaluate our lives, to think about the direction we're headed and change, if we think changes would improve our lives.

If we spend time in new year reflections, and then follow through by setting worthwhile goals and resolutions, we can use the new year as a spring board to catapult us toward more success and accomplishments.

So what are mine?

New Year Reflections on the Past

I'm thankful for the accomplishments of last year:
  • a website of around one hundred pages
  • a second site dedicated to our mission trips
  • improving health despite advancing age
  • energy to write, cook, clean, travel, and do everything else I've been blessed to do this past year
  • the Lord Jesus, my best friend who has promised to never leave me or forsake me
  • my husband, family, friends, and many others who've helped, encouraged, and enabled me to make the most of last years opportunities

New Year Reflections on the Present

At least three areas need work, starting now and continuing into the coming year: I need to...
  • improve my organizational skills
  • improve my ability to prioritize and get the most important things done consistently
  • establish a community between myself and everyone who reads and is interested in effective health supplements

I know this is enough to keep me busy. If I think of more later, they can always be added.

New Year Reflections on the Future

Reflections on the future naturally result in goals and resolutions.

In order to establish a community with my readers, I plan to:

  • Provide more opportunities for participation on effective health supplements. I've recently asked you all to share with us your best health supplements, but in the coming weeks, I intend to add several more opportunities for you, my readers, to share with me and with others. I believe this will enable me, and ultimately us, to better meet each others needs.
  • Provide more information about effective supplements that truly empower health. Because without health all the money in the world is useless, and no matter what your goals or dreams, they can never be realized.
  • If possible, start a new web site about solar energy and its practical applications.
  • Continue to travel and help others on the mission field as opportunities and finances allow.

    New Year Plans

Dennis and I will be leaving for Puerto Rico again the first of February and returning toward the end of March.

I've recently started writing more about arthritis and the natural supplements, treatments, and exercises that can enable you to overcome it. I plan to continue writing on this topic during the coming month.

As I mentioned previously, I'll also be inviting you to contribute on the site more. I'm hoping to put up another invitation at least once or twice a month, so I hope you'll be looking for an opportunity to share.

To improving health by wise supplementation,

    Sherilyn
