Type 1 Diabetes Research
Promising Possibilities

Type 1 Diabetes research is focused on finding a way to reverse, or cure this disease, that usually starts in children and ties them to a lifetime of insulin dependance.

Until recently their seemed to be little that could be done for type 1 diabetics other than helping them learn to manage the disease as well as possible, to avoid the diabetic complications that result from long term high blood sugar.

However recently a research project has actually offered hope that this condition might be reversible. It was summarized in an article in the June 25, 2011 edition of the Los Angeles Times. This study gave volunteers a low dose substance used to vaccinate against tuberculosis called "BCG".

The effect of the vaccination was to stop a certain type of immune cell called the "T cells" from destroying the cells that make insulin in the pancreas.

When the T cells stopped attacking the pancreatic cells that make insulin, the pancreas healed, and started making insulin again, raising levels in the blood.

Previous research, done on mice had already shown that this vaccine would work in them to actually cure the condition.

There were two steps performed to cure the mice. In the first step, the mice were given the vaccine that eliminated the defective "T Cells" that had been attacking the pancreatic cells that produce insulin.

In the second step, the researchers were able to keep the mice from redeveloping the defective "T Cells" by using immune proteins from normal mice to "re-educate the T-cells" so they would see the pancreatic cells as part of their own body and not attack them anymore. (I found this information on a website published by Massachusetts General Hospital explaining the research in detail.)

Researchers also believe that Type 1 Diabetes in humans works in exactly the same way as it does in the mice, and the "BCG" vaccine is the same medication for humans as that used to cure the mice.

As previously mentioned, initial trials in humans have been very promising. However, I was unable to find any timeline for when this procedure might be approved by the FDA, making it available to the public.

Type 1 Diabetes Research
Supplement Now for Healing

Although it may be years before type 1 diabetes research provides a cure, understanding what the researchers have discovered might enable you to let your body heal naturally without using drugs or waiting for FDA approval (which is notoriously slow).

There are many types of autoimmune diseases today. Although conventional science always works to suppress the immune system, a true cure will only be achieved by re-training, or re-programming it, so it stops attacking itself.

There are supplements that have been developed to accomplish this. They are not cheap, but they could not possibly be as expensive as treating a lifetime condition like Type 1 Diabetes. One is called Digestaqure.

If I were dealing with this health challenge, I would try a little type 1 diabetes research on myself, by giving this product a try for at least a year, to see if it might retrain my immune system, so it quit attacking the insulin producing cells of my pancreas. Since this is a food, it should be entirely safe to use.

If you can't afford digestaqure, another aloe product, that might have similar value, is called Catherine's Choice Aloe Vera. You can find it by visiting this site.

Caution: All Aloe Vera products are NOT created equal. To get the maximum benefit for your immune system, you'd definitely need a high quality product.

Although I've not personally used them, and I receive no monetary compensation for recommending them, I believe these are both high quality. The old maxim "You get what you pay for" is frequently true when it comes to quality health supplements.

Additionally, I would also recommend taking Stem Enhance. This is a completely natural concentrated super food that enables your body to release 25 to 30% more adult stem cells for up to six hours after each dose.

Cutting edge research has shown that stem cells are one of the most effective ways your body has to heal. (By the way, "adult" stem cells is a slight misnomer, since the stem cells produced from birth on are considered "adult" no matter how small the child.)

I wonder if the combination of these two supplements might enable a person to heal from Type 1 Diabetes naturally, without having to wait for years for the benefits of this type 1 diabetes research to become available.

By clicking on the previous links you can read more information about these supplements, as well as order them. I'd encourage you to check out these possibilities if you are dealing with Type 1 Diabetes

Type 1 Diabetes Research
Conclusions

Another doctor doing type 1 diabetes research proposed to "cure" the condition by removing an opposing hormone called "Glucagon" from the blood according to an article published in Science Daily in January 2011.

However, although this may appear to resolve the problem, since hormones usually have more than one function in the body, it is unlikely this will provide a long term cure for the problem.

However, if the immune system can be properly "tuned up" or regulated so it stops attacking the body's own cells, specifically those in the pancreas for type 1 diabetics, this should truly result in a long term cure.

The type 1 diabetes research that has been successful in mice, and a few human tests subjects definitely provides hope for a cure, but using the best supplements might well provide the same healing benefits, without the long wait for conventional medical research and testing to release these benefits for the public.

But, please don't forget, natural solutions always take a while to show full results. It is best to use powerful concentrated food supplements, such as those I've recommended here for at least three months, and preferably six, to experience their full health benefits for yourself.

Don't deprive yourself, or a loved one, of healing by being too impatient to give your body enough time to heal. Additionally, please realize if you experience greatly improved health, but not a complete cure, you may simply need a longer time period to experience complete healing. It is wise to keep on, keeping on.

Always remember to track your health supplements to be sure you're investing wisely. If after three to six months of use you experience no benefits, then you may be sure the supplements weren't sufficient to enable healing. I'd definitely recommend you not waste any more money on them.

Nonetheless, beware of buying the cheapest supplement claiming to have the same ingredients... Frequently they will be nothing more than a waste of your money.

There are always a few shameless producers out to make a quick buck, who will sell you worthless supplements for less than what high quality supplements can be sold for. They make a handy profit, and you get nothing, except skepticism toward all supplements!

When your health is on the line, quality supplements are a good investment.
