Use Ubiquinone to Slow Aging, Keep a Healthy Nervous System, Strong Heart, and Avoid Cancer!

Ubiquinone,Coenzyme Q10, (CoQ10), Ubiquinol-

These terms all refer to a molecule discovered by a scientist named Fred Crane in 1957. Ubiquinone, also known as Coenzyme Q10 is not an enzyme, but a co-enzyme.

This means that it is an essential helper for three large enzyme systems that produce about 90% of our cellular energy. ATP (adenosine triphosphate) is one of these enzymes. ATP is the fuel our cells use to function.

Every cell uses some CoQ10, but it is most prevalent in the heart, brain, and other organs with high energy usage.

Usually our bodies make plenty of ubiquinone until around the age of forty, but after that our levels begin to drop.

Ubiquinol is considered an effective heart health supplement because scientists believe it delays aging by enabling our hearts to work more effectively and efficiently. It helps the heart's ability to contract, and enables the heart's muscle cells to use oxygen more efficiently.

Reverse aging with Ubiquinone ( Coenzyme Q-10)!

Researchers now believe it may help prevent cancer by reducing inflammation and free radical damage in the body.

Ongoing investigations show it may be helpful in a wide range of other health challenges from neuro-degenerative diseases to migraine headaches. It definitely supports longevity.

Be sure to Supplement if your Prescritions deplete Ubiquinone.

Coenzyme Q-10 is depleted in the body by statin drugs or beta blockers. These drugs are routinely prescribed to control blood pressure and cholesterol.

Many researchers and doctors believe that CoQ10 should always be supplemented when these drugs are prescribed, but that frequently doesn't happen.

Although the drug companies and many doctors ignore these findings, research shows that supplementing with Coenzyme Q10 might frequently be better for health, than prescription drugs.

Get the most useful form of CoQ10.

Up until 2006 ubiquinone was the only form of CoQ10 available, and it is not well absorbed by the body.

Now the Japanese have developed a form that is eight times more available for use in your body called ubiquinol.

It is available from Life Extension Products. Although it is more expensive, you should be able to get the same health benefits from a lower dosage.

Availability and Recommended Dosage

Coenzyme Q-10 can be found in 10 milligram up to 300 milligram capsules. Most doctors seem to prefer soft-gel supplements prepared with oil because they are better absorbed by the body.

If you are not taking a soft gel format, you should be sure to eat it with fat so that your body can use it, since it is a fat soluble nutrient like Vitamins A and E.

If you are using CoQ10 as a preventative measure, 30 to 60 milligrams a day should be enough. If you suffer from any type of heart condition, have had cancer, or are on statin drugs, you should probably discuss with your doctor the possibility of taking a higher dosage.

My Personal Experience and Recommendations

My doctors recommended I take at least 100 milligrams daily after my cancer treatments. (One side effect of the chemotherapy drug I received was that it induced heart failure.)

I do take Ubiquinol daily, and I did notice a big difference in my energy levels when I started taking it.

My husband has also started taking it in combination with Omega3 fatty acids, and it seems to have helped his energy levels as well.

I believe Ubiquinone is a supplement that has proven health benefits in preventing aging and many of the chronic diseases that come with aging.

You will spend far less on it, than you will on the prescription drugs you'll need to treat the diseases you may avoid by taking it.
