Women's Heart Attack Symptoms
Deceived by Familiarity

Women's heart attack symptoms are a subject where many assume they know more, than they actually do. Since these symptoms have been the object of intensive public education for years, the majority assume they are well known.

However, the familiar symptoms of heart attack we can all list, such as chest pain, pain in the left shoulder and arm, a feeling of heaviness as though an elephant is standing on your chest, and so on, are actually primarily describing male heart attacks, not those suffered by women.

Heart attacks kill many women annually because they don't realize they are having a heart attack, since their symptoms aren't the same as those they've been taught.

To share a recent example, a lady who lives less than two blocks from our home died from a heart attack while we were in Puerto Rico this past fall.

She lived next door to her daughter, and the daughter had offered to take her to the hospital twice earlier in the evening, but she just thought she had a bad case of indigestion!

By the time she finally decided she should go to the emergency room and have it checked out, it was too late. She died in her daughter's car on the way to the hospital.

Had they truly understood heart attack symptoms in women, and their differences when compared with the classic symptoms we've been taught, that primarily apply to men, she might well have sought help earlier, and still be with us today. One of my reasons for writing this page is the hope that future tragedies like this, might be avoided.

Women's Heart Attack Symptoms
Different than Men's

Perhaps the best way to learn what these symptoms are, is to compare them with men's symptoms. By the way, most of the following symptoms are taken from information readily available from the United States government's health sites.

For men the major, and well publicized, symptoms are:

  • sudden chest pain frequently moving out into the left arm or left side of the neck
  • shortness of breath
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • irregular or unusual heart beats or rhythms
  • sweating
  • inexplicable fear or anxiety

On the other hand, women have reported they notice symptoms as early as a month, to six weeks, before the attack, that in retrospect, they believed were connected to the attack.

The most frequently noted symptoms that precede an attack are in order of their noted frequency are:

  • unusual tiredness
  • difficulties sleeping
  • easily winded
  • indigestion
  • inexplicable worry, fear, or anxiety

Women's heart attack symptoms during the attack were these:

  • trouble breathing, or easily winded
  • weakness
  • unexplained and unusual tiredness
  • breaking out in a cold sweat
  • dizziness

Up to 43% of women said they didn't have chest pain at all during their heart attacks. And less than 30% had any chest pain before their attacks.

Women's Heart Attack Symptoms
Never Ignore Them

If you are, or someone you love is, having heart attack symptoms, please don't wait. Call 911 and get emergency care. It could save you from becoming part of the heart attack statistics for our country.

If you are experiencing some of the symptoms women have noticed prior to their attacks, please take them seriously. There are several nutritional supplements that may enable your body to heal your cardiovascular system.

Since I've written about them on other pages I won't repeat the information here, but check out the pages on cardiovascular fitness, and on ways to prevent heart disease.

Furthermore, I've recently realized that the tremendous toxic load, in our food supply and environment, definitely contributes to all the serious diseases of our time. Fortunately, there is a fairly easy solution to this problem. For all the details visit the page I've written regarding total body cleanse for an easy, yet reliable, solution for this health threat.

Additionally, as a woman, you need to check out the specific systems of your body that might cause these women's heart attack symptoms primarily due to your gender. I am referring, of course, to the hormone connection.

If you are living constantly in a state of estrogen dominance, you are greatly increasing your risk of heart disease, as well as many other chronic diseases.

For more information about this problem, and an easy solution, please explore the page I've written about Women's health supplements. It doesn't provide all the answers, but it provides links to the pages that will, so those answers are readily available to you.

Womens Heart Attack Symptoms
Counting Our Blessings

Although you make think I'm crazy for suggesting that anything about women's heart attack symptoms could be a blessing, if you'll stay with me for a minute, I suspect you'll begin to understand what I mean...

Rarely do men have any type of advance warning before a heart attack. Consequently when that crushing pain hits, there was frequently nothing they could do to prepare.

Women, on the other hand, have the blessing of several advance symptoms that warn of possible heart problems, as early as six weeks before a heart attack actually occurs!

If we'll take the time to memorize these advance symptoms, and watch for them in our lives, and the lives of our loved ones, we can take preventative action that may well keep those attacks from occurring.

For example, the super food supplement which is my top pick, has been scientifically proven to enable your body to release three to four million adult stem cells for four to six hours after every dose. Its companion supplement, made up of proteolytic enzymes, antioxidants, and whole body detoxifiers is designed specifically to improve circulation throughout your body, to be sure those stem cells can get where they need to be, to boost healing.

If at the first signs of symptoms that might precede a heart attack you invest in these supplements, and the others recommended to help your body heal, those signs might well disappear, and you might never suffer that heart attack at all.

I don't deny that supplements cost money, but so do drugs, surgeries, bypass operations, and the other health difficulties that go with heart attacks and disease.

If you compare the average costs, you'll realize the cost of making supplements, that enable healing, a part of your life, is an incredible bargain in comparison.

My prayer is that you'll be willing to make the investment in natural healing with nutritional supplements, so you are never forced to make the investment in conventional medicine's "treatments and cures" after you've suffered a heart attack, if you survive the attack.
