Co Q10 after Illness - A Great Pick-Me-Up!

Co Q10 is a naturally occurring enzyme which is produced by your body from food elements. It helps the energy producing function (the mitochondria) of your cells to do their work.
I don't take it regularly, as my energy levels are reasonably good most of the time. Once or twice I have suffered 'flu's or colds which have left me feeling drained and tired.
I once thought I had contracted ME because my energy levels were so slow to pick up after a bad cold. (This was when I was still teaching which is a particularly exhausting profession!) I also suffered from muscle aches and muscle fatigue after just a short time of being busy.
Now whenever I am slow to recover from illness I just take Co Q 10 for a few days. Although it is naturally produced by your body, its production may be adversely affected by illness. Your production of it may fail for other reasons, too, such as stress or aging.
Co Q 10 is relatively expensive, but in my opinion it's well worth the cost for occasional use.
